Activity hours are the hours a teacher is paid but is not in the classroom.
Why does this matter for PowerCubus?
Because when calculating gaps (idle time between classes), PowerCubus deducts the activity hours.
Practical example
Suppose a teacher has 2 activity hours:
-
The first 2 gap hours between classes are excluded from the calculation.
-
If the teacher has 5 total gap hours, PowerCubus will count only 3 hours as real gaps — the other 2 are activity hours.
This setting ensures teacher gaps are calculated fairly, accounting for paid time outside the classroom.
